The meeting was called to order by President Jester at 20:00 hours.
The evening’s agenda was begun with the Toasting of the Jameson. The toast was made by President Jester and offered to all our Brothers who are present and those who cannot be.

Concerns of President Jester
A reminder regarding the St. Baldrick’s fundraiser was given.
The details regarding the Winter Gala (Fireman’s Ball) were relayed.
A comprehensive Treasurer’s report was read and will be forwarded to the membership via electronic mail.
Logo t-shirts are available if those who ordered would like to pick them up.
501 (c)(3) application still pending
David Haines of the Berlin FD has tendered his resignation citing time commitments.
A paid and outstanding dues report was presented.
The place for the January meeting was chosen to be The Cork Bar in Ocean City, Maryland and it will commence at 20:00 hours on Friday the seventh immediately following the regularly scheduled quarterly officer’s meeting, which is to be held at the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Company Headquarters Board of Directors room at 19:00. Membership interviews will be held at that time.
Concerns of Director Parker
He would like to host the February 2011 monthly meeting at his home on Super Bowl Sunday at halftime – He made the motion, it was seconded, and passed unanimously.
Concerns of Director Donovan
He would like to have a 50/50 raffle at the February meeting.
Concerns of Brother Guschke
Get on those chanters and pipes!
He attended the Irish Festival and made some outstanding contacts, including the Fire Fighter Cancer Foundation.
Concerns of Brother Snyder
He has shot some photos for the calendar project. They will be used for a 2012 calendar.
Concerns of Brother Farren
He threw down a challenge to Brother Snyder to shave his head for St. Baldrick’s.
He believes the owners of Conch Island will be willing to assist us in our fundraising efforts for the Pipes & Drums Corps.
Concerns of Brother Carey
He made a motion, that was seconded, to make a rule that states “any members who own kilts must wear them to all Delmarva Emerald Society functions.” The motion was passed unanimously.
There being no further business, a motion by Brother Carey and a second to adjourn the meeting was unanimously passed by the members present at 20:57 hours.
